Motorcycling Paradise
Motorcycling is without a doubt one of our biggest passions. I have ridden since I was 8 and never tire of riding in the Gunnison area. Lee and I have toured Europe twice, and can speak with experience when we talk about the quality of the motorcycling in the area. The scenery is fantastic and the twisties rival any area in the country. Dirt bike riders will also find this area both challenging and abundant in miles and terrain.
One of the greatest things about riding in the Gunnison area is that there are many "loop" rides available. Mountain riding frequently means out and back routes, but rides leaving from Gunnison can take you to Lake City, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Gateway Canyon and many other destinations without having to turn around and ride the same road home (although the view and road is completely different when run in the opposite direction).
We are always ready to suggest routes, good spots to stop along the way or engage in some bench racing.
Bring your bike and an appetite for memorable rides, you won't be disappointed. If you would like to come, stay and ride in our area but need to rent a bike for your visit, contact our friends at Colorado Mountain Moto. Their website is:

Kevin and his crew rent late model Suzuki VStroms, which are fantastic bikes and capable of allowing you to experience all that our area has to offer. Check them out!
Another great site that is full of information and will help you make the most of your trip to Gunnison and tour Colorado is Passes and Canyons at:
www.motorcyclecolorado.com
This site can fill you in on other areas to ride, attractions, events and what's going on in the world of Colorado motorcycling in general. Passes and Canyons is a fantastic tool for helping you plan your trip, and a fun site to explore.
