This is a very comfortable, fully equipped home. Two queen bedrooms, two full baths, and a sleeping loft (ladder access) with two twin beds. Private pond, large front deck, beautiful yard, all perfect for relaxing. Just bring your clothes, recreation gear and expectations, you won't be disappointed. Located within sight of the Gunnison National Forest and West Elk Wilderness. Close enough to town to be convenient but far enough out to give you the escape you deserve.
Summer gives you hiking, biking, four wheeling, motorcycling and wildflowers. Fall for spectacular leaf peeping and unsurpassed hunting Winter for skiing at world renowned Crested Butte Mountain, cross country touring and snowmobiling. Gunnison has it all, except for the crowds. This is what a mountain vacation is supposed to be about!
We live on the same piece of property (in a separate house, of course) and are happy to be as much a part of your visit, or as little, as you want. If it's advice on what pass to ride on your motorcycle, which fly to use or introducing you and your family to our alpacas, just ask.
